Saint Ambrose School is part of the EdChoice Expansion and Traditional (residency-based) Scholarship programs in Ohio. This is an Ohio income-based scholarship program for children in grades K-12 from low and middle-income working families. Families can receive a financial scholarship up to the entire tuition cost for Saint Ambrose School. Please contact the school office for more information if this program could benefit your family!

These scholarships are renewable each year through 8th grade for Saint Ambrose School. Families are responsible for submitting renewal applicaitons annually to keep their scholarships, and to avoid lapse of scholarship. Scholarship applications must be processed after applications to Saint Ambrose School have been accepted.

For the 2021-2022 school year, there are no qualifying schools for the residency scholarship listed. The state of Ohio adjusted the qualifiers for schools, which eliminated all schools in Medina County for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are a new family, incoming grades 1-8 (incoming K is not eligible) , and are assigned to Huntington Elementary or Eliza Northrup Elementary, you may qualify for a scholarship based on the Senate Bill 110 voted on in June 2021.

Please note these scholarships are processed directly by the Ohio Department of Education. Please allow at least 90 days for the state to process.

The Ohio Senate has recently voted on expansions to this program as of June 30, 2021. More informaiton will be forthcoming as it is released and published by the Ohio Department of Education.

Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program

The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student’s Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and will not exceed $27,000. Students must be enrolled in the scholarship program for the entire program year to receive the full scholarship amount.
