School Choice 2019-2020

We are a school of choice and the State of Ohio has been wonderful in assisting parents to make the best educational choice for their children.  Please see the resources below for 2019-2020.

EdChoice Expansion Scholarship

Deadline:  April 20, 2019
Saint Ambrose School is now part of the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship program in Ohio. This is an Ohio income based scholarship program for children in grades K-5 from low and middle income working families.  Families can receive a financial scholarship up to the entire tuition cost for Saint Ambrose School.  Please contact the school office for more information if this program could benefit your family!

Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program

The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student’s Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and will not exceed $27,000. Students must be enrolled in the scholarship program for the entire program year to receive the full scholarship amount. Financial Aid

Families that wish to receive financial aid through the Diocese of Cleveland and/or Saint Ambrose Parish are required to complete the FACTS Financial Aid Form. The Diocese of Cleveland has moved financial aid requests over to the FACTS program for 2019-2020.  FACTS financial aid forms are available in the school office or on-line at SaintAmbroseSchool.us.

The application window opens in February and financial aid is awarded in two rounds and in order of requests received as funds allow.  Please note that awards can be as late as early summer 2019.
