How can it possibly be October already! Another heartfelt thank you to our donor (who wishes to remain anonymous) for the wonderful instruments. We have received 15 brand new xylophones, and 6 standing hand drums. These form the backbone of our new Orff Instrumentarium! Students across all the grades will use them to learn not only the fundamentals of music, but how to compose and improvise their own music! Many students have now had the chance to play them twice and it has been an absolute treat to hear, you can ask their homeroom teachers, or the office staff in Lehner!

Band and Orchestra are off to good start with almost 30 students studying instruments with our Padua directors! I cannot wait to hear the first concert!

October puts us one month closer to another exciting event for our school: the drama department spring musical!
