My beloved husband (deceased), Tim, and I have three amazing, faith-filled children, all graduates of Saint Patrick Catholic School in Bryan, Ohio and Bishop Dwenger High School in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  Erin is a University of Akron graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and doing great work at GM in Parma.  Ryan graduated from the University of Saint Francis with a Business Administration/ Sports Management degree.  He played football there all four years and helped USF win back to back NAIA National Championships.  He is employed in Fort Wayne but working toward moving to this area.  Lauryn is a Junior majoring in Exercise Science at the University of Akron with her sights set on becoming a Physical Therapist.  She is a member of U of A’s Rifle Team and competed in the Junior Olympics at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

I love being with my kids and family any time we can, being outdoors in sunny, warm weather – bird watching, hiking, walking, bike riding.  I enjoy reading when I can.  I am energized by and am blessed to work with people of God, especially my family at Saint Ambrose School and Parish!

This is my fifth year teaching at Saint Ambrose School.  I received my B.S. in education from the University of Akron and have been teaching fourth and fifth grade within the Diocese of Cleveland since 1996.  I absolutely love teaching, especially science and reading and hope to inspire my students with my passion.   I also enjoy using technology to enrich my students’ learning experiences and build upon those 21st-century learning skills.

I grew up in Brunswick and then moved way to explore the world as a young adult.  About eleven years ago I wanted to come “home” to Brunswick and raise my children with my husband of 22 years.  We have three children; a nineteen-year-old son who is a firefighter/ EMT and is working on his paramedic, seventeen-year-old daughter who is a senior at Brunswick High School and plans to pursue pre-med next fall and a ten-year-old daughter who attends Memorial School as a fifth grader.  If I have your children as students, they will be coming home with stories I enjoy sharing about my children’s adventures and life at the Parente house.  We also have two rescue dogs, one cat, and chickens that lay green, pink and blue eggs.  When I am not cheering at my kids’ soccer or baseball games I love to travel, read and just spend time with my family.

Mrs. Allison Noga

HSP/Social Studies - 7th Grade Homeroom

Hello! My name is Allison Noga, and it is hard to believe that this is my tenth year teaching at St. Ambrose! Before that, I taught fifth grade for four years at Our Lady of Peace School in Cleveland. Although school has always been an integral part of my life, I did not become a teacher right out of college. Instead, I dreamed of becoming a magazine reporter, and I graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s of science in journalism, with a minor in history. After working for almost four years as a news editor for NewsChannel5’s website, NewsNet5, I felt that something was missing in my life. I realized then that I was called to be a teacher.

I went to Cleveland State University to get my teaching license, and going back to school was one of the best decisions I ever made. Now I can impart my love of history by planning exciting social studies lessons and units, and I can share my love of language arts with my students by helping them to become better writers. In addition, my journalism background inspired me to start the Buzz Blog, Saint Ambrose’s online school newspaper. We currently have dozens of students in the Media Club, which is responsible for updating the blog with fresh content and incorporating technology such as videos, pictures and surveys.

As far as my personal life goes, I am married to a wonderful man, Joe, and we have a smart, energetic fifth-grader named Adam who keeps us on our toes. In my spare time, I love to watch and play most sports, read novels, travel, play board games, sing karaoke (very poorly), try new restaurants, and hang out with family and friends.

I am truly ecstatic to be part of the St. Ambrose family and am looking forward to another spectacular year!

My name is Jeremy Litwinowicz. I am a brand new teacher this year, both at St. Ambrose and in the world. I just graduated from Bowling Green State University in May 2018. When I started college, I wanted to be a biologist and after taking a Calculus course that was a breeze for me, I learned how much I love helping others in need. I refocused myself on math education and never turned back. I know a lot of people dislike math and my goal is to show everyone that they can do it and to help them find their way in the subject. I am most excited to get to know all of the 6-8 graders in my classes and to help them reach their “Aha!” moments. I’m a big fan of comics, superheroes and star wars and use some of those ideas as a theme in my classroom. I’m also engaged to be married in the summer of 2019.

I met my husband, Jim, at church; after we married I started moving with him as his duty stations with the US Navy took him from port to port. Teaching jobs found me in the states of Maryland and Hawaii before I stepped down from teaching in order to raise our only son, Aaron. We continued to move around until my husband retired after serving on US submarines for 20 years. My husband is originally from Cleveland, so here we are! We’ve been here for ten years this fall.

Six years ago we sent our son to a summer technology camp, and I thought it was so great that I asked if I could teach for them. As a result, I have been working with Classroom Antics since 2013. So, in addition to substitute teaching, obtaining my Ohio Teaching license and working for Classroom Antics and a software developer, I find myself uniquely positioned to help the students at Saint Ambrose grow in integrity and knowledge with regards to STEAM subjects. My focus will be to incorporate science, engineering, the arts and math into a technology platform that is appropriate for each grade level. I am excited to help our school grow in this area!

On a side note (pun intended…) I sing with the Baldwin Wallace Women’s Chorus, so feel free to attend our concerts if you wish! I have been musical since a young age, and singing is my musical outlet at this point in my life. It’s my “happy place!” Because of my love of music and teaching, I have a theme song for all my

STEAM classes this year. Do you know what song it is yet?
Finally, the Lord has led me to write Bible study guides that can be used by anyone, whether a seasoned veteran of God’s Word or a beginner. Faith in Jesus Christ is everything to me, and I am at my happiest when sharing God’s Word with others, not as a pastor, but as a Bible study leader for women. It is a great responsibility that I do not take lightly, but it energizes me. God is good!

Mrs. Beth Saxon

Director of Food Service

Hello, my name is Beth Saxon.  This will be my 14th year working for Nutrition Services in the cafeteria.  I started out as a server for the first two years and have been a manager ever since.  It has been a joy watching your children grow up from Kindergarten through 8th grade. I have seen the menus evolve over the years and have to say that we offer a very healthy lunch. We try to encourage healthier choices and witnesses how your child’s tastes change from year to year.

I reside in Brunswick with my husband, Don of 26 years and two children, Matt, who graduated from OU this past May and has a job at PNC in Corporate Finance and Hollyn, who is a Junior at OU studying Criminology/Psycology.  Both of my children completed school here at St. Ambrose.  We also have 2 Miniature Dachshunds and a German Shepard.

Mrs. Lisa Miller

Lunchroom Coordinator

Hi! My name is Lisa Miller and I have been an Instructional Aide in the classroom (substitute) and lunchroom since 2012 at St. Ambrose School.

I graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Business. I worked in the manufacturing field for almost 20 years as a Production Scheduler and Purchasing Agent. I purchased steel, copper, and brass coil for use in various industiries, including automotive, appliance, and power generation.

When my son, Casey, was born, I chose to pursue a different route and stay at home to raise, guide, and be his first educator. While he was in preschool at St. Ambrose, I began helping out part time and still continue to do so.

I absolutely love working with the kids. They share so many wonderful stories and I love hearing them all! I always know when that next tooth is loose and what their favorite food is in their lunchbox. The little ones always ask ‘Mrs. Miller, what’s my name?’ I try my best to remember them for those occasions when I run into them at the mall!

My husband, Steve, and I will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary next year. Along with Casey, other family members include Bentley, our three year old Cocker Spaniel.

I am excited to start my sixth year teaching as an Intervention Specialist and second year teaching at St. Ambrose. Before being blessed to be a stay at home mom, I worked in Human Resources for Catholic Charities.  I am excited to use this background to help Saint Ambrose in its Admissions program.  As a parent, I have been a part of the Saint Ambrose School Family for over 7 years.  My husband, Brian, and I have 3 children and live in Brunswick.  They keep us very busy, especially rooting on the Angels CYO teams!

I have been blessed to be a part of the Saint Ambrose community since I was 6 months old.  I attended Saint Ambrose Day School in the 80’s.  I then attended Padua Franciscan High School.  I received my Bachelor of Science in International Marketing from the University of Dayton.  I have three sons: Alex (1oth grade), Benjamin (7th grade), and Isaac (3rd grade).  As a family we enjoy camping and spending time together as much as possible.   I look forward to growing the Alumni Association of the school.   I am truly blessed to be involved in the school and helping it to grow.
