This week (3/6/17-3-10-17) and next week (3/13/17-3/17/17) the third grade class will be IOWA Testing. Below I have attached the third grade testing schedule. I know they will work hard and do awesome!
Here are some suggesting our staff has come up with so that your child can do the best they can…
Parents:
- Ensure that your child gets a good night’s rest before each testing day.
- Encourage your child to eat a healthy breakfast before coming to school.
- Be positive about the test. Speak with your child and let them know that doing their best is what counts. Your positive encouragement will help them feel comfortable and confident.
- Keep your routine as normal as possible. Plan ahead to eliminate stress on testing mornings. Avoid difficult situations before the start of school.
- Please make sure that your child arrives at school on time with at least two sharpened #2 pencils.
- Speak with your children after each day of testing. Acknowledge their feelings and great efforts each day.
