FAMILY FIRST NIGHT MARCH 13 – Brunswick Schools is planning a “Family First Night” on Monday, March 13 and we will gladly participate! From Rich Nowak, BCS Board Member, “On this day we are encouraging all of our students and teachers to spend the evening with their families and put all their activities at the school on hold.
There will be no afterschool meetings, athletic practices, band practices or any other afterschool activities held on this day.”
Teachers will not give homework for this night and will leave immediately after dismissal to be with their own families. Pray together, eat dinner together, read, play outside, go bowling, play board games – just enjoy being together. I can’t imagine the logistics of canceling and rescheduling the plethora of activities in a district so big. Let’s plan to make this an annual event!
