It’s hard to believe that another week of school has gone by!

This week the students have been working very hard on their current STREAM project in which they are using science, technology, religion, engineering, art and math to learn about animal habitats. The children are pretending that they are using what they learn about habitats to help build a zoo in the school gym.

The students selected which habitat they wanted to learn about.  The students were then divided into groups in which they used Chromebooks and books to learn about their habitat.  The students even worked as a group to write their own rules for their habitat exhibit at the school zoo.

The children then picked the object they would like to bring to school to help create their habitat exhibit on the lid of a copy machine paper box.

Just a friendly reminder that all habitat materials are due on Monday.

Next week the children will complete their research and plan their exhibit together.   After we display our projects, Miss Kinley is going to hold onto them and display them in an art show.   Each habitat group will also present what they learned to their classmates.  :) What an exciting way to learn! :)

IOWA testing is completed…Make-up assignments will be conducted next week!

Have a wonderful weekend!
