Scouts BSA Girl Troop 7513 Open House
May 18 | 7:30 – 8:30 pm | Hilkert Hall
Scouts BSA Girl Troop 7513 is ready to begin the adventure of Scouting—we have leadership, equipment, and all the necessary resources all in place. The only thing missing is YOU!
Young women aged 10-17 will have the opportunity to experience outdoor adventures, like hiking, canoeing, sailing, camping, Summer Camp, and attending the National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia with over 40,000 other scouts in the Scouting movement!
The merit badge offerings of the Scouts BSA program grant girls the opportunity to explore their interests and determine their futures, delving into topics like architecture, programming, home repairs, and public speaking, among many others.
Through the Scouts BSA program, the girls will learn life skills, such as first aid, financial literacy, and time management, as well as foundations of citizenship, community, family, and friendship.
Troop 7513 will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. at St. Ambrose Hilkert Hall. Girls will get to make and take home a paracord survival bracelet, and parents can learn about all the details of our Troop and learn what Scouting is all about. If you have boys that are Scouting age, they also are welcome to join us as well! Our boy Troop will also be a part of the open house.
We would love to have you join us on Scouting’s Adventure! For more information, contact us at (330) 273-4366 or scouts7513@gmail.com.
