CYO FALL ATHLETICS SIGN UPS ARE NOW OPEN!
Fall CYO Registration is Open for the following sports:
- Cheerleading – Grades 1 to 8
- Cross Country – Grades 1 to 8
- Flag Football – Grades 1 to 4
- Rookie Tackle Football (7 players) – Grade 5
- Rookie Tackle Football (8 players) – Grade 6
- Tackle Football – 7th/8th Grades are one team.
- Volleyball – Grades 2 to 8

Important Dates
- Early Registration ends on May 22nd and Final Registration ends on June 20th. After May 22nd, pricing will go up by $25 an athlete and no late registrations will be accepted after June 20th.
- Practices can begin the week of July 22nd and games will start the last week of August.
Please READ! – Important Notes:
- Volleyball – If your athlete will be in 7th or 8th grade during the fall of 2024 and trying out for their middle school team (ex: Brunswick, Strongsville), please do not register for Saint Ambrose CYO Volleyball.
- If your athlete does not make the middle school team and wants to play CYO, please contact Vicky Van Bennekom at jvgg2006@gmail.com after teams are announced.
- Please note if you do sign up and your athlete makes the team, your registration fees will not be refunded. Why is this important? We need to ensure we understand how many teams we will register and pay for with CYO in addition to placing girls on the right level teams.
- All Football and Volleyball – If registrations fill two teams (1 team for 7th/8th grade tackle), we will move to a waiting list to see if we have enough head coaches and practice time available to support another team. Email Vicky Van Bennekom at jvgg2006@gmail.com to be placed on the waiting list.
- All coaches must register in Sports Pilot as this is the book of record for CYO. If a coach is not registered, they may not participate.
Uniforms – Who needs to purchase?
- Athletes in the following sports/grades will need to purchase a new uniform through a link to be sent out after registration as it is the first year for these teams:
- 1st grade cross country
- 1st grade flag football
- 2nd grade and 3rd grade volleyball
- 5th grade rookie tackle football – Uniforms change from flag football to rookie football because of football pads so any athlete playing 5th grade rookie tackle will need to purchase a new uniform.
- Any new athletes to any sport
- Any athlete who has outgrown their prior year uniform
