GRADE 4 RETREAT….THANKFULNESS
Last week, the 4th grade students enjoyed their retreat as they centered their hearts and day around being Thankful and giving Thanks for the wonderful gifts from God! During their time together, they made prayer cards and placemats for our parish Thanksgiving Meal. They also broke up into groups and acted out skits about what they were thankful for- the students thoroughly enjoyed showing their thankfulness while having fun with their friends! As their service project, they made fun and colorful Turkey Tissue boxes that will be sent to the residents at Willowwood Nursing Home. We know these little gifts for the residents will brighten up their Thanksgiving holiday! It was a wonderful day for students and parents to share in all the ways that they are thankful for God’s many blessings!
