The last couple weeks in room 104 during ELA time, we broke into small reading groups with our first longer length novel. Students read “Judy Moody and Stink and the Grand-Slam Book-Bowl Jam” in small groups while meeting with myself, Mrs. Exton, group members, and even individually. They have been enjoying this time and think this book is a hit! They are using their reading journals to participate in discussions and answer questions while reading through the book step by step.
