On Sunday Seven Saint Ambrose Families Received the Best Mother’s Day Gift of All
On Sunday, May 11th, seven Saint Ambrose Students were recognized for their recent academic accomplishments within the school and the community at the Saint Ambrose 10:30am.
Logan Seifert, a seventh grade student at Saint Ambrose School, won second place in LifeWorks Ohio Respect for Life Art & Essay Contest out of 2,500 entries. This year’s theme was “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” Logan, along with the other winners, were honored at The Art & Essay Awards Ceremony at the end of March. On Sunday, Logan received a certificate from Father Bob Stec, Pastor of Saint Ambrose Parish, along with heartily congratulations from the Saint Ambrose Community!
Six other students at Saint Ambrose School were also recognized for their accomplishments by receiving the Rita Jane Stec Memorial Scholarship. Rita Stec is the late mother of Father Bob Stec and David Stec, Principal of Padua High School in Parma. The Rita Jane Stec Memorial Scholarship was established to provide students with an opportunity to continue their Catholic Education. This year four $500 scholarships were given to four Saint Ambrose sixth grade students and two $1,000 scholarship were given to two Saint Ambrose eight grade students, who will attend Padua High School in the fall.
Congratulations to Christine Besenfelder, Olivia DiTeodoro, John Ham and Adriana Ricciardi who are the sixth grade recipients of the $500 scholarship to Saint Ambrose School and Andy Klemm and Connor Steffen who are the recipients to the $1,000 scholarship to Padua High School!
