Visual Art Update for Friday September 7, 2018
Welcome Preschool!!!!!!!
Preschool: Welcome Preschool!! The first day started with learning the basics in art. We sang art songs together. They learned about color and shapes.
Kindergarten: Students named and pointed out subject matter and details while observing works of art related to a church dwelling. They reduced objects into basic shapes and lines in relation to the whole image. They designed their own church.
Third Grade: Students completed a self-portrait. They identified and analyzed key components of a portrait and related visual elements to relevant context. They developed creative symbols while practicing fine arts skills.
Sixth Grade: Students created a self-portrait that demonstrated awareness of two-and three dimensional space.
