Preschool: No School Christmas Break
Kindergarten: Students explored their environment and experiences for artmaking ideas. They created a collage of Mary.
First: No School Christmas Break
Second: Each student learned how to draw a church using two point perspective method. They used their imagination and observation skills.
Third: No School Christmas Break
Fourth: Students combined the elements and principles of art to create a visually effective composition of an elf’s legs and feet. They used their imaginations to create pattern and design. We later discussed fashion design as a career.
Fifth: No School Christmas Break
Sixth: No School Christmas Break
Seventh and Eighth: Each student applied critical thinking skills to design a church. We discussed engineering and architecture. They communicated a specific idea for each design and demonstrated the use of art elements and principles of design.
