The 4th and 5th graders are using 21st century skills to collaborate and communicate with each other during math class. They also have the opportunity to practice their math skills with online activities that correlate with the lesson of the day.  It is important for them to practice the basic facts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and subtraction; they can review on the way to a sport or dance practice or even during the bus ride home.

The 5th graders created a Google Slideshow about the proper way to receive the Eucharist, and they gathered in prayer this week with their schoolmates to remember St. Francis of Assisi.  Many students have been acknowledged for displaying acts of KINDNESS this week: being considerate of other while working in groups, holding the door for others, giving a compliment, just to name a few.  Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!
