Third grade got off to an amazing start on this first day of school 2016! Today we organized our supplies and items in the classroom so we have a clean and fresh beginning to the year. Students have a check sheet of any supplies they still need to bring in that they took home today. They are also bringing home any supplies that are extra along with their classroom Wednesday folder. Please go through this folder, fill out any paper work, keep any handouts, and return it tomorrow signed. Students also have a copy of the specials schedule in their backpacks for you to keep at home, they will get a copy to keep in their STAR binder tomorrow as well.
We have two exciting days ahead of us getting to know each other better and figuring out how we learn best. Students are ecstatic to learn about Mustache Money tomorrow and participate in many fun games and activities after a day of procedures, directions, and basic housekeeping. One thing students will complete tomorrow is the set up of their STAR binder. You can look through this in the evening as well as the assignment notebook to get to know it better. The table of contents will be the perfect place to start!
