In 7th grade Physical Education, the students have been working hard on a group project. The goal of the project is for the students to be bale to work together as a group to solve a problem. The problem is for the students to invent a new game/sport to play. They will have to organize and collaborate to invent and market their new game to the rest of the students at Saint Ambrose school. They will have to do things like come up with a rule book, statistics and a marketing plan for their new game. They are still in the early stages of the process, but so far some of the ideas they are coming up with are very creative.

In the other grades, students will be exploring basketball for the next several weeks. The younger grades will be working on skills such as shooting, dribbling and passing. The 6th and 8th graders will work on moving without the ball and thinking of different ways to try and score, such as give and go and pick and rolls.
