Hold fast to instruction, never let it go; keep it, for it is your life.

OPEN HOUSE WAS A RESOUNDING SUCCESS! The school was filled with the Holy Spirit as we enjoyed our annual Open House on January 29.  The energy, excitement and positivity were palpable signs.  Many new families from our parish and local communities visited and left inspired and excited about a LAPS and/or SAS education for their own children. Come and tour Littlest Angels Preschool and Saint Ambrose School – excellent faith formation and academic programming that happens every day right here in our parish and community! If you weren’t able to attend our Open House, our doors are open for you at your convenience. See for yourself how we provide Everything for all children!  I would love to talk with you personally.  Call me at (330)460-7350 or email [email protected].  You can also contact Breanne Logue, our Institutional Advancement Director, for more information or for a tour at (330)460-7318, or email [email protected].  Spots for the 2017-2018 school year are filling up – get your registrations in now!

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK BEGAN LAST SUNDAY with the best way we can celebrate – at the Table of the Lord together! I am so proud of our 8th Grade students who wrote and read their essays about the value of their Saint Ambrose Catholic School education at each of the weekend liturgies.

COMMUNITY LEADERS BREAKFAST – We were thrilled to host our annual Community Leaders Breakfast on Monday, January 30! Despite the snowy weather, leaders from our community and beyond came to celebrate the great STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Math) education being implemented here at SAS for our 21st Century learners.  Christopher Knight, the Secretary for Catechetical Formation and Education/Superintendent of the Diocese of Cleveland, and Anthony John Miranda, Chief Operating Officer of Alphaport, Inc., were our guest speakers.  Guests were amazed by the work being accomplished by our students through their teachers and staff. We are so blessed to offer what students today need for their future success!

ALL SCHOOL MASS – We are privileged to be a Catholic school and celebrate our faith together.  What better way to thank God for His goodness than to attend Mass?

PANCAKE BREAKFAST AND VETERANS ASSEMBLY – Many thanks to our Knights of Columbus for providing our delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, juice and milk! Following breakfast, we prayed for all veterans and honored their service for us.  We are so blessed to have the opportunity – every day – to live and grow together as a faith community!

ST. EDWARD HIGH SCHOOL TRASH TALKERS DRUM BAND rocked our winter pep rally on Friday!  Wow, what a talented group of young men giving the perfect finale to a blessed week of celebration!

These are just a few of the highlights happening here at LAPS and SAS. There is always more to share with you, so be sure to visit www.SaintAmbroseSchool.us throughout the week.

May God bless you!
