Visual Art Update for Friday September 24th, 26th &28th
Preschool: The famous artist George Seurat created paintings using dots.

Goals: to enable the child to explore, clarify and express ideas, feelings and
experiences through a range of arts activities
Kindergarten: Students learned about the process of printmaking. They made prints using apples.
First: Each student created planets using many rolling marbles. They produced artwork using only tilting motions.
Second: Each student created planets using many rolling marbles. They produced artwork using only tilting motions.
Third: Students created a symmetrical space alien name design. They demonstrated skill and expression in the use of art techniques and processes.
Fourth: Mrs. thompson’s class finished their self-portraits.
Fifth: Students utilized their Chromebooks to create a 3-D space rover designed through a software program called Tinkercad. The theme for this project is “My Space Vision”.
A rover (or sometimes planetary rover) is a space exploration vehicle designed to move across the surface of a planet or other celestial body. Some rovers have been designed to transport members of a human spaceflight crew; others have been partially or fully autonomous robots.
HSP: Students learned about typography in graphic design.
They experimented with a variety of techniques and working methods while creating an original work of art.
