Saint Ambrose Catholic School opens their doors for in-person and synchronous learning for grades K-8 and in-person, small group classes for Littlest Angels Preschool in their brand new 5 STAR Building!
Saint Ambrose Catholic School and Littlest Angels Preschool opened its doors to students and continues to lead the way in providing a Next-Generation Education both in-person and remotely.
BRUNSWICK, OH, September 9, 2020, Saint Ambrose Catholic School, in Brunswick, Ohio continues to lead the way in providing a Next-Generation Education to our families and community! On Wednesday, September 2nd, the school joyfully opened its doors for both in-person and synchronous instruction. Teachers, staff, administration, students, and families were ready and excited to be back for in-person and remote learning, and celebrated this joyous return to campus with a back to school picnic and music from DJ Kris Koch last Friday, September 4th. Students were able to spread out and enjoy our beautiful campus and celebrate the beginning of this new and unique school year we are embarking on together.
Saint Ambrose Catholic School has invested in swivls- the latest in video technology for remote learners. This enables remote students to learn and participate synchronously with their in-person peers as if being present in the classroom. The campus has also added an outdoor tent to increase access for outdoor learning in the coming months.
In addition, over the summer months, Saint Ambrose Catholic School was busy converting space into a fine arts room that now houses its music and fine art programs. Another vacated space was converted to a sensory and intervention room. The new space was possible due to the move of Saint Ambrose Littlest Angels Preschool to their new, state of the art facility across the street. This new location provides a 5 Star Step Up to Quality preschool for our youngest students, as well as much needed gym space for the preschool and CYO sports programs.
Littlest Angels Preschool is able to expand its preschool programming to include all-day preschool and flexible aftercare options and enrichment opportunities for our youngest students. Littlest Angels Preschool faculty and staff spent many hours this summer getting their classrooms ready and were eager to welcome their preschool students on August 27th.
From added space to a brand-new gymnasium and advanced technologies as well as a brand new preschool dedicated playground, there is much to be excited about this year for both our day school and preschool programs.
