We became kindergarten smarties today! We practiced writing our name the kindergarten way! Uppercase letter followed by lowercase letters. We even practiced writing our last names and class numbers! We had NO tears and lots of effort! I am so proud!
We learned the number word “one” today and counted using eggs to represent numbers 1-5.
We heard a song about a girl named Cass who loves cooking crazy concoctions in her kitchen. You will find a piece of junk that has the hard sound of ‘c’ as homework to reinforce the initial sound of ‘c’.
God welcomed us for being unique and wonderful! We listened to each of our special names called out by singing a welcoming song.
We went to Library today and learned all about the library’s quiet zone. No books checked out until next week.
