I hope that everyone has enjoyed the long & relaxing weekend, complete with its beautiful weather! What a perfect way to celebrate the canonization of St. Teresa!
This week, we will be celebrating mass as a school on Tuesday, which means that classes will be shortened in order to accommodate. Please feel free to join us for the celebration of the Eucharist! Tutoring for my 6th & 7th grade math classes will begin the week of September 12th. Tutoring will be held every Tuesday from 2:30-3:15 in my room 207. The tutoring sessions are meant to be extra review, explanation or assistance with any of the concepts currently being covered in math class. Students have found tutoring especially helpful before summative assessments! Please email me or send a note with your child if he/she plans to stay on Tuesdays, beginning September 13th.
Math Pentathlon will be held again this year! We will be meeting every other Wednesday, beginning the week of September 19th, in my room 207. More details will be updated & sent home shortly, but the club is open to 6th & 7th grade students from any math class!
