Dear Parents & Guardians,

We have reached the end of the first full week of school, and with this comes the beginning of new information regarding activities for the year! The first and most important event is our 6th grade retreat.

Each year, the 6th grade class participates in an overnight retreat held at Camp Christopher in Bath, OH. The retreat is scheduled this year for Thursday, October 20th until Friday, October 21st.  The retreat is made possible through the collaboration of the staff at Camp Christopher, the parent chaperone volunteers and the 6th grade homeroom teachers.

In order to further discuss the details of the retreat, including the cost, the arrangements, the schedule, the parent chaperones and much more, we will be holding an informational meeting on Wednesday, September 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the Mother Teresa Room of the Parish Life Center.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact your child’s respective homeroom teacher, Ms. Kadlec or Miss Demboski, in order to receive the pertinent information from the meeting. We ask that at least one parent attend with their child. Students are encouraged to attend, but if they are unable to, the information will be discussed at school.

We hope to see all 6th grade parents at the meeting! We look forward to discussing the retreat, answering questions and clarifying the details in order to provide a memorable, faith-filled retreat for our 6th grade students.

All the best in Christ,

Miss Colleen Demboski & Ms. Patricia Kadlec
