It has been a very busy week in first grade!
The children began STAR testing today on the computers and they did a wonderful job loggining into the system!
I think Log in Camp helped us a lot! :) Tomorrow we will continue STAR testing. We will conclude testing next week. Please remember that these are not tests that the children can study for. The tests give us a picture of the children’s current skills and what areas we can work on to strengthen and expand.
Please be sure your child has a pair of headphones / earbuds that he or she can leave at school to use on a regular basis. We will be using the Chromebooks a lot! :)
We will also begin using the online Super Kids program very soon. Please stay tuned for more more details soon.
Tomorrow the students will be assessed on making The Sign of the Cross. Please be sure to continue to practice this at home with your child.
