Hello Fantastic Kindergarten Families!
We had a wonderful week learning about God’s amazing world and how it all began! We sang our hearts out at Mass and learned a new song! We concluded our second SuperKid book and will introduce a new SuperKid Monday. We made beautiful apple tree books that will be hanging in our hall for Special Person’s Day on Friday, September 30th. We learned about positional words, first through fifth in math and worked on number writing. We did creative writing in our journals using pictures and many are being to use words/sentences! Exciting times are happening in LL1!
If you have not signed up for your child and his/her Special Person for September 30th, please do this ASAP.
Also, please make sure you are logging onto the SuperKid website weekly. If you need help, please contact Mrs. Morgan and she will do her best to help.
NO hot lunch or milk on Monday, September 26th. Students must pack a lunch and drink this day. Thank you for understanding.
Poetry binders will not come home today. We will resume the normal schedule next week.
Scholastic Book Club orders are coming home today. Thank you to everyone who ordered! October forms will come home in two weeks. You can go online at anytime to order prior to the forms coming home! :)
Progress Reports will be coming home Friday. The skills assessed are concepts learned in class, handwriting, and any concepts under the practice at home category each week. Please remember this is just a snapshot of how your child is doing. We are more than four weeks in and we are adjusting very well to kindergarten! I am so pleased with the kindness of each student and how God’s light is shining through each child on a daily basis! You all deserve many accolades for the remarkable job you have done thus far in raising these fine boys and girls!
Enjoy a beautiful weekend with loved ones! Remember I am here if you need anything!
