This week the children continued to strengthen their skills and learned many things. :)
In Math: We continued to practice place value. The students determined place value by viewing the written place value of numbers. The students were even challenged by being introduced to a flat which represents 100.
In Social Studies we learned about the qualities of a good Citizen.
In Science we learned about the life cycle of an apple.
In Language Arts, the students read a new Super Kids story. The students also learned to use context clues and illustrations along with repetition of a sentence to help them when they do not understand something in their story.
We also had picture day, celebrated Fr. Bob’s birthday and had a pep rally! It was another fantastic week at St. Ambrose! :)
