Students in grades Kindergarten through 7th grade worked on The Homeless Project within our computer science makerspace. Students watched the following video to learn more about homelessness. The video also included those that are homeless in Cleveland, OH and their living conditions. Watch the video HERE!
Students worked on different prototypes that fit within one of the following categories: portable housing, food storage, and clothing/sleeping gear. They used the following base materials that were tested during Mrs. Hamzik’s science class: cloth material/felt and space blankets.
8th grade students worked on their Invention Convention projects during class by developing prototypes or researching their projects.
