The students in 5th grade researched, planned and budgeted for their own Thanksgiving meal. They had to shop local grocery store online ads to create their special meal. Reasoning, multiplying decimals and adding decimals were some of the skill standards used in this lesson. If you need a personal shopper, ask your 5th grader:)
