We are busy, busy, busy in kindergarten!
This week we as we finished up the second quarter we continued working on our addition and subtraction skill. We continued working with the letter E and began learning about word families, specifically focusing on the -at family. We learned about how are hands can be used to serve and do good things. We learned about Martin Luther King and even watched a snip of the Presidential Inauguration. Our class was very interested as they watched history being made.
Next week your child will be bringing home there 2nd Quarter report cards along with their STAR Early Literacy mid year results. Please just sign and return the envelope.
The Scholastic Book Fair begins on Monday. Kindergarten LL2 will be going on Friday during our regularly scheduled library time. If you would like your child to purchase anything from the book fair please send in any money in a sealed envelope with your child’s name on it.
Catholic School Week begin January 29th at the 9:00 mass! You should have received information regarding the events of the week.
