Our fifth-graders were introduced to a new program called Criterion. This web-based software gives students the opportunity to practice written communication skills at his or her own pace. The feedback is immediate and specific, allowing students to revise elements of organization, grammar, usage, mechanics and style in their essays.
Our Angels are rising to the challenge and determined to perfect their writing. Inside room 206 you could hear students say, “This is so cool!”, “It is really difficult, but I love it!”, “Can we use this for Social Studies also?”, “Thank you!”, “I finally scored 6 out of 6!”
We are certainly blessed to have another wonderful resource to help prepare these impressionable young minds for the future.
