Fifth graders start each morning discussing and reflecting on ways they can grow as peacemakers in our school. In the lesson “The power of a Ripple Effect”, students discussed the negative and positive effects of our attitudes. “If you are a stone, and St. Ambrose School is the pond, what ripple will you make each day?” Examining thoughts and actions, and how they relate to the teachings of Jesus is an important way to start the day.
