We had a very exciting day at school today!
This afternoon we celebrated Fr. Bob’s birthday. The whole school sang “Happy Birthday” to him in Spanish. We also gave Fr. Bob a birthday card that we created. On the front of the card, the children made a construction paper image of themselves wearing a birthday hat. Everyone signed the card. below their construction paper image. The children also sat outside and received a refreshing popsicle treat to celebrate Fr. Bob and his special day.
We also had fun celebrating our school spirit and fall sports teams by attending the all-school pep rally! As we listened to music and cheered during the eighth grade vs. faculty volleyball game we waved pompoms and provided our support.
The excitement at St. Ambrose continues with the Fall Festival beginning tomorrow evening after the 5:00 p.m. Mass. At the Fall Festival you be able to enjoy some wonderful food, go on hayrides, walk through a hay maze and puchase a pumpkin to support the church! I hope to see you there! :)
