First Grade Students Leading A Service Project For Children In Need

The first grade students will be leading a service project in which they will be collecting new and slightly used hats, gloves, scarves and mittens for children in need.  The students will also be collecting soft socks and slippers for the elderly. All donations collected will be sent to those in need at St. Rocco’s Church in Cleveland, St. Bernard’s in Akron, our Blue Bus Ministry, as well as our own families through the Catholic Works of Mercy in Medina County. Items will be collected until Wednesday, December 16. All donations should be placed in the large gift boxes under the Christmas tree in the hallway located by the first grade classrooms.   When donating slightly used gloves and mittens, please attach them together with a safety pin.
