Fourth-Graders Plan Pioneer Villages

In grade 4 social studies, the students have been learning about how the United States divided land in the Northwest Territory after the Revolutionary War. The pupils were given the task of planning their own pioneer townships. They had to think of what would be important if they founded their own village, as well as where everything would be laid out. They did an awesome job!
