Trudging through pond waters on a beautiful autumn afternoon to collect and identify different organisms, kissing a mummy for good luck, participating in a fascinating history lesson during a cemetery study, and trekking through the campgrounds on an adventurous night hike were just some of the highlights of the sixth grade overnight camping experience at Camp Christopher this week. In addition to the phenomenal environmental education lessons, the sixth graders also participated in a campfire, group challenges, sports and a celebration of Mass with Fr. McNeil. The students had two days of learning and excitement, while making memories that will last a lifetime! We are grateful to all our adult chaperones and camp counselors that helped make this trip possible and meaningful!
