Earlier this week, the 8th graders went on a retreat to Camp Cheerful. Although the energy level was high and the activities were fun and competitive, the message was not forgotten; we are a family of God and together we will overcome temptation of doing wrong as brothers and sisters. The 8th grade did several spiritual and thought-provoking activities that brought them closer together as brothers and sisters. Camp Cheerful was indeed a way for the 8th grade to become closer through God and to fight the battle within us between good and evil.- written by Sydney Jenko
