Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Students all have their AR goals for the 2nd quarter along with their ZPD ranges. I will be sending home an AR update this week Wednesday.

 

Please remember that this week Thursday and next week Thursday are conferences! Make sure to sign up and come talk to me if you need anything.

 

This week is also Red Ribbon kick off week…

Monday 10/31 Red Ribbon

Since it is already a crazy day, we decided to keep things as simple as possible. Right after morning announcements, NJHS members will visit each classroom and explain what Red Ribbon Week is and explain the week’s activities. Anti-Drug posters will be distributed to each homeroom to hang on your door.

Tuesday 11/1: Red Out

Students may wear red sweatshirts, socks, shirts, accessories, etc. with uniform bottoms to celebrate All Saint’s Day and in drug free solidarity. (See Handbook for details)

Wednesday 11/2: Pledge to Block Out Drugs.

Students may wear sunglasses with their school uniform to school. NJHS will go to each classroom to hand out red ribbon to put on their wrists. Students will recite a “drug free” pledge, and then they will sign the posters handed out on Monday.

Thursday 11/3:  Show Drugs Who is Boss.

Students may dress up for school or wear their school uniform. (See Handbook for details)

Friday 11/4:  Drugs Are Crazy!

Students may wear crazy socks to school along with a crazy hairdo.
