What an exciting week in kindergarten!

We learned how to forgive others as Jesus forgives us.  We learned about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, discussing highlights of their lives.  We celebrated Valentine’s Day with lots of love and treats.  We are especially thankful for the team of parents who came in to help out and donated items on this day!  We had “mouse camp” where we learned how to use a mouse on a Chromebook.  We learned many new reading strategies to help us decode unknown words…this was so much fun!  We concluded our week with a visit to Mrs. Hamzik’s room where we enjoyed playing on the games eighth graders created.

There is still time to contribute towards the Auction Basket.  Information went home several weeks ago and all donations are asked to be brought in by Wednesday, February 22nd.

We will have our kindergarten retreat on Friday, February 24th from 8:00-11:00.  Please remember to send in your child’s banner picture ASAP.

Thank you for all you do to support your children in their academic careers!  Your children are such a blessing!  :)
