Johnny Appleseed, Fr. Rob, Special People, Oh My! What an exciting week in LL2!
Johnny Appleseed visited our class Monday. He told us about his life, shared some of his amazing adventures, and even taught us some songs. We then went on to meet Golly, a dog that lives at Gus and Gert’s gas station, he loves smelling flowers and dreams of vacations. Later in the week Fr. Rob took us to the church for a closer look at all the beautiful, holy things inside Saint Ambrose Church. Our week ended with welcoming some very special people into our school. Thank you for all who were able to attend, it was wonderful meeting you!
Next week we have school picture day. Students may dress up. Please see the school handbook for the dress code policy. We will also be having Donuts with Dad Friday morning before school. We will finish out the week Saturday with my favorite St. Ambrose event, the Harvest Festival. Join us for an outdoor mass followed by wonderful fall activities for the entire family! It really is a wonderful opportunity to come together for mass and celebrate the season with our St. Ambrose family!
