When we came back from Christmas break the fourth graders participated in their very first Nonfiction Book Tasting with a New Year’s theme. The black and white streamers were hung and the tables were set with black tablecloths, white plates and party hat sprinkles as an accent. The students then rotated through 5 different categories of nonfiction books to take a “taste” of the different types of nonfiction. We had so much fun and even found a new book or two to enjoy!
