In Physical Education, The students in grades 4-8 have been working on a couple of Units that I we have never done here at St. Ambrose before. We just recently finished up with a unit of speedball. Speedball is essentially a combination of soccer and basketball and the game switches back and forth between the sports pretty regularly throughout the game. The students learned skills needed to switch from sport to sport as well as different tactics needed to play the game successfully.

All grades have or will have a lesson called mission impossible. This activity is a cooperative activity where the students work together to accomplish a task. The task is to get themselves, teammates and equipment across the gym without touching the floor. The equipment used is a rubber spots, a hula hoop a scooter and a jumprope. It is fun to see the students work together, cooperate with each other and solve the problem together as a group.
