During this past week, grades 4-8 participated in a flag football activity called super football, which is basically a modified touch football. They learned to throw and catch a football as well as moving to open space to catch passes. We also focused on the defensive the player moving with the offensive player and not focusing on the quarterback.
Coming soon for the 7th graders we will be working on a group project when the 2nd quarter begins. They will be inventing their own game/sport. They will teach it to their classmates, as well as teach it to the younger grades. We will be incorporating Math, science, history and ELA into the unit.
