Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2—Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books. Today at St. Ambrose we had a school wide reading time from 7:30-8:00. Students could bring in blankets, slippers, pillows and books to read. The entire school was encouraged to “Stop, Drop and Read.”
