Saint Ambrose School National Junior Honor Society Inducts 16 New Members for 2020!

March 10, 2020- Today we gathered together as a school family for Mass and to induct 16 new members into the Saint Ambrose Catholic School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society!  This national organization is the middle school version of the National Honor Society. Members are charged with maintaining standards of excellence in one of the nation’s oldest, largest, and most prestigious student recognition programs.  https://www.njhs.us/

Our school chapter is proud to induct its eighth class of new members!  The ceremony underscored the continuing emphasis on excellence that we represent for our school and community. We are called as disciples of Jesus Christ to use our gifts in building His kingdom and look forward to the members of our chapter serving as role models for other students and continued service and leadership.

As Father Bob said in his homily, “We are all uniquely equipped by God and called to be a light to the world. These 16 students are role models to the entire school of using your talents to build a better world for all God’s people.” He went on to say that in his way, “today is the most important day in the school year” as we recognize students for doing just that.

These 16 candidates were inducted into the Saint Ambrose Catholic School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society through the effective demonstration of the five qualities that serve as standards for the society: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Character. After Mass, the members of the National Junior Honor Society and their families enjoyed a breakfast reception to celebrate this great honor.

Congratulations to our 2020 inductees:    Jacob B., Ben B., Tessa B., John B., Ben D., Max E., Angelina G., Madelyn K., Blake K., Caiden M., Keegan M., Brendan M., Ava P., Jacob R., Matthew S., and Connor S.!
