Student Ambassadors in Action Serving Our School, Our Parish, and Our Community!

The Student Ambassadors in Action is comprised of forty 5th-8th grade students who are REACHING for the sky and leading the way at Saint Ambrose Catholic School. Student Ambassadors are striving to fulfill the mission of Jesus by strengthening their faith through unique service opportunities including at their school, their parish, and their community.

Whether it is greeting and giving tours to new families during one of our Open Houses, assembling gifts of cookies for the Twelve Days of Christmas ministry, campus clean-up after the Fall Harvest Festival, planning an intergenerational Valentine Social for parish members, packing food at the Cleveland Foodbank, or serving soup during a Lenten soup supper our Ambassadors are up for any service opportunity asked of them. They say “Yes” to the opportunity knowing that they are saying “Yes!” to Jesus!

Ambassadors meet on a monthly basis after school, sometimes more frequently as the need and service projects arise. This year the group has already been instrumental in cleaning up the campus grounds after the Fall Harvest Festival. Programming for this school year also includes learning about and serving the homeless, the ZIKA project, planning an intergenerational gathering, 12 Days of Christmas Ministry, Robby’s Voice, an off-site opportunity, and much more!
