Saint Ambrose School families and students participated in a food drive to raise awareness to needs in our immediate community for hunger as a service project to prepare for the Lenten season.  We collected over 100 lbs of food that was immediately donated to families within our community who are in need.

THANK YOU Saint Ambrose School families, Fr. Bob Stec , Principal Cinadr, Mrs. Ruggiero, and teachers! Your help and generosity is overwhelming! The Lent service project food drive donations have been delivered families in need within our community!

Stay tuned for some future service projects where we continue to help those in our community in need and prepare our hearts for the season of Lent.

See below activities to share with your family on how you can prepare and be involved this Lenten season!

Lent 2019

One Day makes a difference!
One Day at a time!
One Day we’ll all get to heaven!
The theme for Lent 2019 calls us to reflect on each day and make choices – each day – to grow closer to the Lord. We have ‘forty’ – one days….enough time to make a real change in our lives…grow closer to the Lord….and take many steps on the path that leads to heaven – one step at a time.

Mission Rice Bowl

Rice Bowls will be distributed through the School and PSR, as well as on Wednesday, March 6. Rice Bowls should be returned on the weekend of Palm Sunday.

Each one of us can make a sacrifice and put the savings/change in this Rice Bowl. Skipping a cup of coffee or a candy bar can make all the difference for those most in need! Think about it…$1 a day for 40 days = $40 x thousands of members!
Bring this filled rice bowl to Church on Palm Sunday.

Help us build a home for those in need in our mission. Small change. Big Difference. if we do it together!

Lent 1.3

Small Faith Groups

3 hours that can make this the BEST Lent ever!

This Lent, join us for 1 hour, 3 times for meaningful conversation in our Small Faith Groups.

Quite simply, these conversations are about connecting life and faith together. Imagine reflecting on ways to find inner peace or greater joy.  Imagine instead of talking about your kids or grandkids, you reflect and strengthen the core values of your family that will allow you to better parent and grandparent?

Imagine learning a little bit more about scripture – God’s Word – and how it can connect and apply to your life.
