Congratulations to Katie Scheutzow who came in 13th place overall for the 7th grade and Matthew Stracensky who came in 1st place overall for the 8th grade at the District Power of the Pen Competition in February. There were 22 schools represented with 228 students competing. They went on to the Regional competition, which took place at St. Joseph Academy in March. Matthew came in 10th place overall and Katie came in 13th. They have qualified for the state finals for Power of the Pen on May 27, 2016 at the College of Wooster. We so proud of our students!
