Five of our fabulous fifth-graders accomplished an extremely difficult task. First, they labeled all of the states’ locations on a map; next, they identified the capitals of those states; and finally, they also spelled all of the states and capitals correctly! This is a challenging activity, even for most adults. I was super proud of these students and decided to treat them to a Honey Hut lunch as a reward. Way to go!
