“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Thank you to our Saint Ambrose School and Saint Ambrose Littlest Angels Preschool families for such a STRONG finish to the 2019-2020 school year!

We are so thankful for our school families’ partnership and commitment to finish the fourth quarter from home via virtual learning! They were actively engaged, R.E.A.C.H.ed, worked hard, and never gave up! What a tremendous example of grit and resilience!

We were greatly blessed to be well prepared with technology access and resources to migrate and pivot quickly to online and virtual learning.  Our Preschool-8th grade students were able to stay connected with their teachers and each other via Google meetings and relevant lessons to continue learning, achieving and finishing the year strong!  We could not have done it without our faith and the commitment and partnership of our parents. We are also thankful for our supporting PARISH COMMUNITY! We all have much to celebrate even as we continue planning for the best for our 2020-2021 school year.

We are also very proud of our students and joyfully share that over 180 students in 4th-8th grades received academic honors for the second semester!  They earned these honors based on the grading scale we continued to use even during virtual learning. Our students’ grit, determination, ability to R.E.A.C.H. and resilience have been such hopeful blessings to witness.  We truly are blessed to be a part of shaping moral and strong leaders for tomorrow here at Saint Ambrose School, a STEAM school where “Jesus Christ is EVERYTHING for us and students are challenged to reach their potential.”

FALL 2020-2021
We continue to watch for direction for fall from Governor Mike DeWine, Dr. Amy Acton, the Ohio Department of Education and Early Childhood Education offices, the Diocese of Cleveland, and our local health department with whom we work closely.  Earlier this week, Governor DeWine indicated plans to return physically to school buildings this fall.  We are working hard to prepare for multiple scenarios, keeping the safety of our students, families, faculty, and staff at the forefront of our planning.
We have demonstrated our ability to pivot and provide excellence in education this past quarter by providing high quality and differentiated learning via remote learning under current academic restrictions. We are so proud of our faculty, staff and families!
We will be continuing to communicate by email, a monthly summer Eblast, our website as well as social media platforms this summer with any updates as we receive them for a fall return to the classroom.  Thank you to our families for your valuable feedback on our survey!  Please enjoy a well-deserved summer break!
We continue to make plans to be back together safely in our building this fall. If you or someone you know is looking for a highly-awarded, top-quality education centered on Jesus Christ, please contact us!; 330-460-7318. Now Enrolling ONLINE!
