What do you know about St. Ambrose?  Three 5th graders used their time and talent to research about the saint.  They compiled their information so it could be presented on the morning announcements.  These boys are shining examples of the Fruit of Faithfulness and shining examples during this Advent Season. Thank you to Ben, Andy and Josh.

Saint Ambrose is the patron of Milan and is celebrated on December 7, which is  the date of his ordination. He was also one of the four original Doctors of the Church. St. Ambrose is known all over the world for being the patron saint of beekeepers. That is why our school’s old symbol is a cross with a bee hive. He was also named the patron saint of our school. Lastly, he died on April 4, 397 A.D.
