The students love when the get to play “Math Ball”. This activity is a great way to reinforce math facts. The ball contains a variety of numbers that are sectioned off; each time the student catches the ball, he or she needs to perform a math operation based on the numbers where the thumbs landed on the ball. The 4th graders had the opportunity to throw a ball around, get up out of their seats and practice their math facts.
